Woman struck by car dies in hospital
AN ELDERLY woman has died after she was struck by a car in Narrabri.
The 81-year-old was crossing Barwan St, Narrabri, near a supermarket car park, when she was hit on Friday about 6:25pm.
The woman was taken to Narrabri Base Hospital where she later died, police say.
The car’s driver, a 57-year-old woman, also attended hospital where she underwent a mandatory blood and urine test.
