Council veteran Bruce Miller
draws top spot on ballot paper
FORMER mayor and 20-year veteran with Cowra Shire Council, Bruce Miller, has drawn top spot on the ballot paper for next month’s local government elections.
Cr Miller says it’s the first time he’s occupied the No. 1 spot.
Thirteen candidates are vying for nine positions.
In ballot paper order they are: Bruce Miller, Ray Walsh, Sue Maynes, Robert Bridges, David Cox, Judi Smith, Jack Mallon, Ian Brown, Tony Ryan, Peter Wright, Larry Gee, Bill West and Ruth Fagan
The only incumbent councillor not seeking re-election is Rob Watt.
