Man, 24, killed by falling tree

A MAN has been killed by a falling tree on the North Coast.

The 24-year-old profession lopper was cutting down trees on a private property on Roses Rd at Gleniffer, north of Bellingen,

The local man died at the scene, police say.

Police WorkCover officers are inquiring into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
