Man dies two weeks after road crash
A MAN has died following a road crash near Orange earlier this month.
The 19-year-old was the passenger in a Volkswagen van that collided with a prime mover at the intersection of Bathurst and Allenby Rds, Orange, about 8am on Thursday, June 14, police say.
The driver and passenger of the van, both men, were taken to Orange Base Hospital with serious injuries.
The 19-year-old passenger was later airlifted to Westmead Hospital with serious head injuries.
He died shortly after 1pm Monday.
The 28-year-old van driver suffered broken ribs, while the 42-year-old male truck driver was uninjured.
A report will now be prepared for the Coroner. |
